CRIB Point Community Garden, Somerville Rise Primary School and Somerville Fire Brigade are the first groups to share in the annual community grant of $5000 from Peninsula Quarries. The grants go to community groups in the Somerville, Tyabb and Mornington areas for projects supporting the environment. Crib Point Community Garden will receive $1750 for a 4000-litre water tank. This will enable environmentally responsible watering of the garden which provides fresh food for welfare groups.
