Frankston Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have charged a man following an investigation into alleged historical sex offences.
An investigation was conducted into a series of alleged sexual offending which occurred in multiple locations across Frankston, Mornington and Mount Eliza between 1984 and 1987.
A 72-year-old Edithvale man has been charged with multiple counts of gross indecency in presence of a person under 16 years while under care, supervision and authority, multiple counts of indecent assault and multiple counts of sexual penetration of a child under 16.
The man has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on 26 April.
