A TODDLER died after being struck by a taxi at Tootgarook, Thursday 12 March.
Police and emergency services rushed to Wilkinson Street just after 1.40pm. They were told two women and two children got out of the taxi and it is believed one of the children was struck as the taxi moved away.
The boy was treated by emergency services but died at the scene. The taxi stopped and the male driver was assisting police with their inquiries.
Major Collision Investigation unit detectives arrived soon afterwards.
