HASTINGS SES volunteers got to work quickly on Sunday morning to remove a tree brought down by strong winds at Merricks.
The tree fell across Stanley Road which had to be cleared by several volunteers.
The same thing happened in Balnarring on Sunday, as strong winds, coupled with wet conditions, brought trees down in several places.
