A STATION wagon that ended up in the water after the driver accidentally drove off the Rosebud pier last Friday morning (9 September) was lucky to escape unharmed.
The driver told police he drove his car and boat trailer onto the sand back to retrieve his boat about 6.30am but ended up in the water.
The car was recovered but was extensively damaged.
