Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man in Rye this afternoon.
Emergency services were called following reports a man was found unresponsive in waters near the Bay Trail boat ramp, about 3pm.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
