Police have located a body during the search for a missing kayaker in waters off Somers.
It is believed a man was paddling with a friend at South Beach when he fell from his kayak and disappeared shortly before 11am.
Police located the man’s kayak and paddle and later located a body about 3.30pm not far from where the kayaker went missing.
The man is yet to be formally identified and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
