A MORNINGTON teenager was among a group arrested and charged over an aggravated burglary and series of thefts in Beaumaris overnight on Monday 8 January.
On Tuesday 9 January, detectives from Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit arrested four people over an alleged aggravated burglary at a home on Haydens Road, where it is alleged an Audi was stolen.
The vehicle was later found in the Carrum area by police.
Detectives with assistance from Caulfield DRU and local stations arrested the four at a Station Street, Carrum address a short time later.
Police recovered allegedly stolen car keys, wallets and IDs from inside the premises and located quantities of cannabis and methylamphetamine.
A 17-year-old male from Mornington was charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, theft, unlicensed driving, possess drug of dependence and criminal damage and will appear in court later this evening.
A 17-year-old male from Skye was charged with possess drug of dependence and handle stolen goods and has been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
A 34-year-old Carrum man was charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, theft, handle stolen goods, possess drug of dependence and bailed to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on 18 April.
A 32-year-old Carrum woman was charged with trafficking a drug of dependence, possess drug of dependence, theft of motor vehicle, handle stolen goods and fail to answer bail and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this evening.
